There is currently not a currency option within the Document Designer, due to multi-countries use of symbols such as $. 

The current suitable workaround would be to add a Text component, putting the currency required within it and drag and drop it onto the template. When doing so, please ensure you hit Publish once happy with the placement. You can use the Preview tab to assist you with this action:
