If you need to update the expiry date of an existing Batch Number for a product, you can use either the Batch Number Enquiry or the product's Batch Number tab. 

NOTE: Each Batch Number of a product can have only one Expiry Date. Any update made to a Batch's expiry date will apply to all stock of that product's batch.

Update an Expiry Date in the Batch Number Enquiry

To update a Batch Number's Expiry Date in the Batch Enquiry:

1. From Unleashed's main menu, go to Reports, Inventory and select Batch Numbers Enquiry.
2. Use the filters available to locate the product and Batch Number being updated.
3. Click Run.
4. Click on the populated batch's Expiry Date field and it will become an editable field.
5. Amend the date, as required.
6. Click away from the Expiry Date field to save the changes. 

Update an Expiry Date in a product

To update a Batch Number's Expiry Date in the product record:

1. Open the product record.
2. Go to the Batch Numbers tab.
3. Use the filters available to locate the Batch Number being updated.
4. Click on the populated batch's Expiry Date field and it will become an editable field.
5. Amend the date, as required.
6. Click away from the Expiry Date field to save the changes.
