Why aren't Shopify or Amazon invoices exporting from Unleashed to Xero?

Invoices completed in Unleashed for Sales Orders imported from Shopify or Amazon will only attempt to export to Xero depending on the whether the setting "Accounting System Invoice" is enabled in your Shopify or Amazon store's integration: 

  • If "Accounting System Invoice" is enabled, Invoices completed in Unleashed for Shopify orders will export to Xero. 
  • If "Accounting System Invoice" is disabled, Invoices completed in Unleashed for Shopify orders will not export to Xero. 

Tip: If you have integrated your Shopify or Amazon store with Xero directly, we recommend disabling the "Accounting System Invoice" setting in your configuration.

If "Accounting System Invoice" is enabled but completed Invoices for Shopify orders are still not exporting to Xero, see Xero Connection Log and export errors.

Manage the Shopify integration's Accounting System Invoice setting

To update the "Accounting System Invoice" setting in your Shopify integration:

  1. From Unleashed's main menu, got to eCommerce Hub and select Shopify. 
  2. For the appropriate Shopify store, select Configure. 
  3. In the Configuration tab, scroll to the "Accounting System Invoice" option.
  4. Use the toggle available to either enable or disable the setting.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration tab and select Save Configuration. 

Any Invoices that are completed in Unleashed for Shopify orders that import after the setting is saved will only export if the "Accounting System Invoice" is enabled. 

Manage the Amazon integration's Accounting System Invoice setting

To update the "Accounting System Invoice" setting in your Amazon integration:

  1. From Unleashed's main menu, got to eCommerce Hub and select Amazon. 
  2. Select the appropriate Amazon store.
  3. In the Configuration tab, scroll to the "Accounting System Invoice" option under Products.
  4. Use the toggle available to either enable or disable the setting.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration tab and select Save Configuration. 

Any Invoices that are completed in Unleashed for Amazon orders that import after the setting is saved will only export if the "Accounting System Invoice" is enabled.
