Can you sell a product that is on a Purchase Order?

Question:

If you're ordering a product via purchase order, can I still sell the product on a sales order? 

 

Answer: 

You can create a Sales order without a Purchase order for the item, as there are different ways to bring in stock. The creation will not account for your stock levels on the product however only the completion of the Sales order relies on if there is stock on hand available.
