Typical purchase workflow

This is a diagram of a typical workflow in Unleashed and is based on a user using the Purchase module menu and application.

 

Blue dotted lines indicate options you can perform that are not mandatory. Therefore, in this instance Unleashed enables you to optionally import Suppliers into the Purchases module.

Unleashed purchases process

This differs from the previous purchase diagram as it demonstrates how you can use the Unleashed Purchases module functions available to you to produce an optimal purchases process.

You can optionally use API, integration or import data (such as purchases from another system) in the Purchases module. Also, you must create Suppliers, Products and Warehouses before using the Purchase module.

Unleashed Sales process

This differs from the previous sales diagram as it demonstrates how you can use the Unleashed Sales module functions available to you to produce an optimal sales process.

Wine making process

The following diagram is an example of how the wine industry can use Unleashed and their accounting provider to create and complete a wine making process.

Unleashed:

  • Create a Stock Adjustment to remove any stocked products at quantity & cost. E.g. seeds, insecticide, trellis etc.

Unleashed:

  • Create a Stock Adjustment to add stock to bulk wine at quantity and any costs. E.g. 120 liter barrel of wine.

  • Create and Park assemblies as per BOM and order requirements. E.g. 150 bottles per one barrel.

Unleashed:

  • Update and complete assemblies as per what was manufactured. E.g. 149 bottles with one bottle wastage per barrel.
  • Add supplier costs.

Accounting Provider:

  • Update the stock adjustment from Unleashed to post to the WIP account.
Any costs related to the vineyard, growing & harvesting costs should be accumulated in a Work In Progress (WIP) account.
