Please note the following points before proceeding:
US Users
-
Unleashed requires at least one purchase tax to be selected. In QuickBooks, there is no purchase tax option. Therefore, as a work-around, use the "No tax" (NONE) option that is created by default in Unleashed.
-
All transactions sent to QuickBooks are in US dollars (USD). As such, all non-USD transactions are converted to USD using the exchange rates defined in Unleashed's settings under System, Currency Rates.
-
See Setup Sales Tax Rates in QuickBooks Online before integrating with Unleashed.
All regions
- Unleashed does not export products to Quickbooks. Instead,, Unleashed sends the product's descriptions in the the details of each transaction line.
- After you have imported your stock in Unleashed, the total stock value in Unleashed must match the total Stock on Hand value in Quickbooks' Inventory account before the integration is activated and transactions start exporting from Unleashed.
- Customer and Supplier Names in Unleashed must be unique. If a Customer and Supplier have the same name the will not sync with Quickbooks.
- You can only integrate your Unleashed account with one QuickBooks account. Once you are integrated you cannot connect to a different account.
- Unleashed does not sync changes made to transactions in QuickBooks. If a transaction in QuickBooks is edited it the change will not apply to Unleashed's transaction and will generate a variance.
- Unleashed only shows the final tax total, QuickBooks then breaks down the tax amount into the related tax rates.
-
Multi-currency settings in your Quickbooks account needs to be turned ON if you have multiple currencies' in use across your customers and suppliers in Unleashed. Unleashed supports one currency per customer and supplier; if a customer or supplier uses multiple currencies a customer or supplier record must be created per currency, e.g. customer John Smith USD and John Smith EUR, in both Unleashed and Quickbooks.
