Overview tab

The Overview tab provides you with the opportunity to install an Amazon store or configure a store that's currently integrated with Unleashed.

Install an Amazon store

Once subscribed to the Amazon eCommerce Hub module, install an Amazon store with Unleashed:

  1. From Unleashed's main menu, go to the eCommerce Hub select the Amazon tile.
  2. Hover over the first available Shop Slot tile to see and select the green plus icon.
  3. Fill in the Amazon store's Alias Name. The Alias Name can be a maximum of 8 characters long and cannot be changed.
  4. Use the drop down menu to Select Your Primary Marketplace.
  5. You will then be asked to sign into your Amazon Seller Central Account and to authorise Unleashed to access your account.
  6. Click Add.

Each shop you install to the Amazon eCommerce Hub is displayed on the Overview tab in a tile. By default you can add up to five Amazon shops at a time. If you need to add more than 5 shops, Submit a request in the Support Portal.

Configuration tab

Each Amazon store integrated with Unleashed is setup and configured independently. To manage each store's configurations settings, warehouse mappings, stock configurations and data select the Amazon Store's tile and click on the Configuration tab below it.

Store status

Within each integrated Amazon Store tile you will see a toggle which allows you to set the store as open or closed:

  • ON: The shop's status is set to open, meaning orders, products and customers will sync between Amazon and Unleashed.
  • OFF: The shop's status is closed, meaning orders, products and customers processed or updated from either platform will no sync to the other.

Order fulfilled by Merchants or Amazon

Depending on your business's process Amazon Orders can either be fulfilled by merchants (you) or by Amazon. This means that you may be required to separate Amazon Sales Orders by the appropriate fulfillment process. You can therefore use the configuration options available to determine how Sales Orders Fulfilled By Merchant (FBM) or Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) are each imported and managed in Unleashed.

If you use the ORDERS - FULFILLED BY AMAZON option for Amazon guest checkouts without specifying an email id, Unleashed will create a customer in the following Customer Code format: <store name> FBA <currency> Amazon Guests.

CHOOSE HOW UNLEASHED AND AMAZON INTEGRATE

Use the following configuration options to manage how orders, products and customers will sync between Unleashed and Amazon. The configurations applied at the point of installation can be updated and amended at any time and will take effect as soon as the new configuration is saved, using the green Save Configuration button at the bottom of the Configuration tab.

Product Create Product on Order Import

When enabled, if a product does not exist in Unleashed when an order is imported from Amazon it will be created in Unleashed.

If this option is disabled, the Amazon order will fail to import if the product on the Amazon order does not exist in Unleashed.

Product Sell Price Tier for This Shop

Use the drop down menu to select which Sell Price Tier Amazon's product prices will sync to in Unleashed.

Updates made to the Sell Price Tier in Unleashed will not sync to Amazon.

Product Field Mapping

Select whether the Amazon ASIN or SellerSKU should be mapped to the Unleashed Product Code.

Tip: Do not change the option once you select it, as changing between SellerSKU and ASIN can lead to duplicate products being created. If you have integrated Unleashed with other eCommerce applications, it is recommended to select SellerSKU.

Product Synchronization

When enabled, product data in Amazon will sync to update the product record in Unleashed. Changes made to the product in Unleashed will not sync to Amazon.

If disabled, no product changes will be synced from Amazon to Unleashed.

NOTE: Amazon Product Name will be used as Product Description in Unleashed for new products.

Accounting System Invoice

Enable this option if you want to send Amazon Sales Invoices from Unleashed to your integrated accounting provider.

Tip: We recommend disabling this option and integrating your accounting system directly with Amazon to avoid any tax or order total inconsistencies.

Taxes Amazon Taxes

In this section you can configure the way tax is handled in Unleashed using the following options:

  • Import tax:
When this option is selected, the taxes in your orders will flow through to Unleashed and will appear in the standard taxes line item. An accumulated amount will be displayed in the Sales Order summary in the bottom-right of the Sales Order page.
  • Import tax as a Sales Order charge:
When this option is selected, taxes in your Amazon orders will appear as a charge line in your sales orders. Both the product and the charge line items will be rated 0% tax, however, the final amount will match Amazon's order total.
This will also enable you to track the tax liability outside of Unleashed through the use of a qualified sales tax preparer, in order to pay the correct amount of tax to each state via a solution, for example, TaxJar.
  • Ignore tax:
When this option is selected, no tax information will be retrieved from Amazon orders. All orders will be tax rated 0%, and the tax amount will show as zero in the order summary.
Stocks Export Stock on Hand to Amazon

When enabled, any changes to stock availability in Unleashed will update the stock count in Amazon with the "Available" amount of the product. Available amount = Stock On Hand minus Allocated Stock.

WARNING: If integrating FBA only, do not enable Export Stock on hand.

NOTE: The default fulfillment latency (lead time) in Amazon is two business days. If your Amazon listings have a custom lead time setting you will need to configure this in the Manage your Products tab.

Include quantities for auto-assembled products

If enabled, the Available Quantity will also include the quantity for auto-assembled products.

Available only if the Export Stock on Hand option is enabled.

Assign warehouses for stock availability

Select which Unleashed warehouses Amazon FBM stock availability will sync from. in Amazon.

This will delete the store's current integration from Unleashed. Any data that has previously synced or imported from Amazon will remain in Unleashed after the store is uninstalled, but no further updates or imports will be made from the Amazon store to Unleashed.

Manage Your Data tab

Use the Manage Your Data tab to manually import products from Amazon, export stock availability from Unleashed and import missing orders.

It is recommended to Import Products from Amazon to Unleashed and Export Stock on Hand during the initial integration setup of each Amazon store to ensure the Amazon and Unleashed are aligned and from then updates will be synced automatically based on your saved configurations.
