How to add a Unit of Measure
You can access Units of Measure via Settings | System | Unit of Measure.
- Enter the new type on the Unit of Measure Name field.
- Click on the Add button

Importing product details
If you are importing product details including groups into Unleashed, then these fields are created automatically. This makes it easier for you to include the relevant data in the CSV file prepared in Excel, without needing to visit the System Setting first.
How to remove a unit from on-going selection
A unit of measure can only be deleted if it has not been used previously against a Product transaction or if it is used in defaults or pricing.
If it can be deleted, a Delete icon will be available.
A unit of measure can be obsoleted at any time if not used as a base unit of measure or in defaults or pricing. Existing transactions will not be affected, but new transactions will not have this measure available.
