Manage Sales Persons Tutorial Video
The Sales Persons page enables you to create and manage your sales people in Unleashed. Associate a Sales Person per Sales Order and easily monitor and manage their sales performance. You can then report on their sales performances with the Sales reports available, making it easier to work out commissions.
Automate allocating a Sales Person per Sales Order by setting a default Sales Person in a Customer's record; any new Sales Order created for them will then already be populated with their associated Sales Person, which can be updated at any time.

Add Sales Persons
To allocate a Sales Person to a Sales Order or as a default Sales Person in a Customer, they must first be added as a Sales Person in Unleashed's System Settings.
To add a Sales Person:
- From Unleashed's main menu, go to Settings, System and select Sales Persons.
- Enter the new Sales Person's *Full Name in the field provided.
- Provide a unique and valid *Email for the new Sales Person, in the field provided.
- Click Add.
Manage Sales Persons
Once a Sales Person's been added, it's name and email can be updated at any time. Any changes made to a Sales Person will automatically apply to any Customers or Sales Orders they're already applied to.
To edit a Sales Person:
- From Unleashed's main menu, go to Settings, System and select Sales Persons.
- Click on the existing Sales Person's name or email and it will become and editable field.
- Make the required changes and either press Enter or click away from the Sales Person to save the update.
- From Unleashed's main menu, go to Settings, System and select Sales Persons.
- Tick the checkbox in the Obsolete column for the existing Sales Person.
Use Sales Persons
Once Sales Persons have been created in Unleashed, allocate them to Customers as a default, assign them to Sales Orders and report on them to review their performance and calculate commissions.
Default Sales Person
Set a default Sales Person for Customers to automate their allocating in future Sales Orders and help to ensure accurate reporting for them. Each Customer can set one default Sales Person at a time, but the default can be updated at any time, as and when required. Similarly, when the default Sales Person populates for the Customer's new Sales Order, the Sales Order's Sales Person can be updated is a different Sales Person made the sale.
To set a default Sales Person in a Customer:
- Go to your Customer's record and select the Details tab.
- Use the Sales Person dropdown menu and select the appropriate Sales Person.
Tip: If the Sales Person isn't displayed, click on the Sales Persons' field label and you'll be redirected to the Sales Person page where it can be added. - Click Save.
Sales Person for Sales Orders
Sales Persons can be updated on a Sales Order at anytime, regardless of the order's status or the Customer's default Sales Persons. This provides you with the flexibility to change an order's Sales Persons as and when you need to and will ensure any reporting is accurate.
To apply a Sales Person to a Sales Order:
- Open the Sales Order.
- Use the Sales Person dropdown menu to select the appropriate Sales Person.
- Click Save.
Report on Sales Persons
Use the filters, column headers and hidden columns available in Unleashed's report, enquiry and view pages to manage Customers and Sales Orders by their assigned Sales Persons.
