Assembly Statuses

Assembly Custom statuses can be used to create custom statuses for assemblies.

You will then be able to assign a custom status to an assembly while adding an assembly

 

 

Adding statuses

  1. Go to Settings | System | Assembly Statuses
  2. Enter Assembly name 
  3. Select a colour for the custom status
  4. Click on 'Add' button

You can create up to a maximum of 10 custom statuses for assemblies. Two or more assemblies can have the same colour.

 

Deleting statuses

  1. Go to Settings | System | Assembly Statuses
  2. Click on the 'Delete' icon besides the created custom status

Note: You cannot delete a custom status which has been assigned to an assembly

 

Obsolete statuses

  1. Go to Settings | System | Assembly Statuses
  2. Under 'Obsolete' column mark the status which you would want to obsolete

Note: The statuses marked as 'Obsolete' will appear in the drop-down filter in 'View Assemblies' and 'Production Enquiry' reports, however, you won't be able to assign the obsolete custom status to any new assembly or change the status of any existing assembly to obsoleted custom status.

Adding a new Assembly with status

In order to link an assembly to a custom status:

  1. Go to Production | Add Assembly
  2. Specify a Product code
  3. Click on the drop-down besides Save button. It will bring a list of custom statuses
  4. Select one and click on Save button

Assigning a status to an existing Assembly

In order to assign a custom status to an existing assembly:

  1. Go to Production | View Assemblies
  2. Open the assembly whose status you want to change
  3. Click on the drop-down besides Save button. It will bring a list of custom statuses
  4. Select one and click on save button

Note: You cannot assign a custom status to Completed Assembly

Assigning a status to multiple existing Assemblies

To update the status for multiple statuses at once:

  1. Go to Production | View Assemblies
  2. Select the Assemblies you wish to update via the left hand check boxes
  3. Hover mouse over the Action Cog at the top of the check box column
  4. Select Change Status
  5. Choose the appropriate Status option via the drop down menu
  6. Select 'Change Status'

Note:

  • Assemblies cannot be changed to Deleted or Completed via this function
  • Dis-Assemblies will be excluded from this function

View Assemblies assigned to a status

To get a list of assemblies assigned to a specific custom status:

  1. Go to Production | Assemblies | View Assemblies
  2. Select the status from from the list of option
  3. All the Assemblies assigned to a custom status will be filtered

Production Enquiry report

Another way of filtering Assemblies linked to a specific status:

  1. Go to Reports | Production | Production Enquiry
  2. Select the status from the list of option
  3. All the Assemblies assigned to a custom status will be filtered
