Production Enquiry
FollowThe Production Enquiry enables you to report on the assemblies and disassemblies that have been created during your production processes. The Production Enquiry shows you assemblies and disassemblies at both the assembled and component product levels, allowing you to easily review the stock movements that have been completed and are due to be processed.
Functional descriptions
To access the Production Enquiry, from Unleashed's main menu, head to Reports, Production and select Production Enquiry.
Header button descriptions
At the top of the Production Enquiry's page there are two action buttons available:
- Export: Use the dropdown menu to download a copy of the Production Enquiry in a PDF, CSV or XLSX format.
- Run: Click Run to populate the Production Enquiry in line with the filters applied.
Filter descriptions
Use the following filter fields to refine the results populated on your Production Enquiry:
- Date From: Use the date selector to show only the Assemblies and Disassemblies from the selected date onwards.
- Date To: Use the date selector to show only the Assemblies and Disassemblies up to the selected date.
- Warehouse: Use the multi-select dropdown menu to display only Assembly and Disassembly lines allocated to the selected warehouses.
- Assembly: Use the free text field to filter the Production Enquiry by a specific Assembly or Disassembly. The Assembly filter does not support partial recognition and the transaction must be selected from the populated list.
- Product Code: Use the free text field to filter the Production Enquiry for a single product. Use the magnifying glass icon to use an advanced search function for the product. Product Code does not support partial recognition and must be selected from the populated list.
- Product Description: Use the free text field to filter the Production Enquiry for a single product. Use the magnifying glass icon to use an advanced search function for the product. Product Description does not support partial recognition and must be selected from the populated list.
- Product Group: Use the drop down menu to filter the Production Enquiry by one Product Group. Product Sub-Groups are not supported by the Production Enquiry.
- Status: Use the multi-select dropdown menu to display current Assemblies or Disassemblies of the selected statuses.
- Assembly Type: Use the dropdown menu to choose whether only Assemblies, Disassemblies or All are shown in the Production Enquiry.
- Auto Assembly: Use the drop down menu to choose whether only Manual, Auto or All Assemblies and Disassemblies are shown.
- Assemble By From: Use the date selector to show only the Assemblies and Disassemblies with an Assemble By Date after the selected date.
- Assemble By To: Use the date selector to show only the Assemblies and Disassemblies with an Assemble By Date up to the selected date.
Grid column descriptions
By default, the following column headers are displayed in the Production Enquiry:
- Assembly Number: Displays the Assembly or Disassembly's reference number as a hyperlink that will open the transaction in a new tab.
- Assembly Date: Displays the date the Assembly or Disassembly was completed.
- Assemble By: Displays the date the Assembly or Disassembly is expected to be completed by.
- Product Code: Displays the unique code for either the component or assembled product of the Assembly or Disassembly.
- Product Description: Displays the unique description for either the component or assembled product of the Assembly or Disassembly.
- Product Group: Displays the Product Group the product's currently assigned to, in it's product record.
- Warehouse: Displays either the source or destination warehouse currently set in the Assembly or Disassembly.
- Quantity: Displays the number of base units allocated or expected based for the Assembly or Disassembly.
- Total Cost: Displays the total value of stock included on the Assembly or Disassembly, per product line.
- Assembly Status: Displays the current status of the Assembly or Disassembly.
Hidden Columns
Using the Hidden Columns button you can choose which columns are shown on the grid and where. To add or remove a column, click on Show Toolbar above the grid column's headers, then select Hidden Columns. Drag and drop the columns you like to and from the Hidden columns box.
The Hidden Columns available in the Production Enquiry are:
- Production Type
- Wastage Quantity
Using custom grids
Depending on what sort of information you require, you can enter the relevant criteria and then click Run at the top on the banner. Using the toolbar above the grid, you can manipulate how the filtered information is displayed in the grid as follows:
- Group By Column(s): To group by a desired column, simply drag and drop the column header it into the grey tile space above the grid's header row. As soon as you drop it the grid the enquiry page will group all results by the dropped column's values. You can group by as many columns as you like and expand all or collapse all the groups using the plus or minus icons shown on the left of the grid.
- Customize Columns Shown: Using the Hidden Columns button you can choose what columns are shown on the grid and where. Drag and drop a column across the grid's headers to re-arrange their order and position in the grid. Similarly, adjust a column's size by dragging it's side to the desired width.
- Sort by column: Click on a column's header to sort the report by that field. Click the header once to sort into descending order and click again to sort into ascending.
