Viewing Bills Of Materials

Go to Production | Bill of Materials | View Bills of Materials.

BOM Filters

• Bill Number: Specify a Bill Number to display.
• Product: Specify a Product Code/Description or click on the Search icon to search for a product.
• Obsolete: You can select if you want to display Obsolete BOM(s).
• Display Associated top-level BOM(s): If you have multi-level BOM(s) and you want to see all the associated top-level BOM(s) for a particular Bill Number or Product.
  
  

BOM Functions

• Import/Export: For more information, see Import Assemblies and Bill Of Materials and Import Bill of Materials field definitions.
• Add Bill: Opens the Add Bill of Materials page.

BOM Grid Layout

Default Columns:

• Bill Number:  Links to BOM
• Product Code:  Links to Product Details
• Product Description:  Links to Product Details
• Sub BOM Count: This column displays the number of Sub BOMs you have for each Bill Of Materials.
• Can Auto Assemble:  Indicates whether the BOM is an auto assembled product
• Can Auto Disassemble: Indicates whether the BOM is an auto disassembled product
• Obsolete:  Indicates whether the BOM is obsolete or not
• Action cog options: 
  • Print BOM: If you want to print only the top-level components of a BOM.
  • Print BOM Tree: If you want to print the top-level BOM(s) and all the associated Sub BOM(s).
  • Clone: Creates a copy of the existing components of the BOM for a different assembled product.

Printing Bill of Materials

You can choose to print only the top-level BOM(s) or multi-level BOM(s) from the following pages:

• Production | Bill of Materials | View Bills of Materials: From the action cog, select any of the following options:
  • Print BOM: If you want to print only the top-level components of a BOM.
  • Print BOM Tree: If you want to print the top-level BOM(s) and all the associated Sub BOM(s).
• Production | Bill of Materials | View Bills of Materials: Open the BOM you want to print and select any of the following options from the Print button.
  
  • Print BOM: If you want to print only the top-level components of a BOM.
  • Print BOM Tree: If you want to print the top-level BOM(s) and all the associated Sub BOM(s).
