Import Assemblies field definitions
FollowUse the Import Assemblies template to create and update Assemblies in bulk.
The Assemblies template allows you to manage the assembling quantities but will not manage component products or quantities. For more details see Import/Export Production.

Description |

*Assembly Number | Provide the unique transaction reference for the Assembly. |
*Product Code | The unique Product Code of the product being assembled. |
*Source Warehouse Code | The Warehouse code where the component stock is coming from for the assembly, see Warehouses. |
*Destination Warehouse Code | The Warehouse code where the assembled stock will be stored once assembled, see Warehouses. |
*Assembly Status |
The current status of the Assembly. If creating or updating assemblies the status must be Parked or match one of your account's Assembly Statuses. If exporting Assemblies into a pre-populated template Completed status assemblies will be included. |
Assembled Quantity | The total number of units being assembled. |
Assemble By | Date by which the assembly is due to be completed. |
Comments | Free text field for any relevant notes on the Assembly. |
Serial Number |
If the assembled product is serial tracked, provide a new Serial Number per assembled unit. Each assembled unit's serial number must be listed in a new row on the template. |
Batch Number |
If the assembled product is batch tracked, provide a new Batch Number per batch of the assembly Each assembled batch must be listed in a new row on the template. |
Batch Quantity | The total number of assembled units for the specified batch. |
Batch Expiry Date | The date the batch tracked assembled quantity is due to expire. |
Expected Duration | Total time the assembly is expected to take to complete, in hours, minutes or second, or a combination e.g. 1hr 20m. |
Actual Duration | Total time the assembly took to complete e.g. 65m, recalculated when the Assembly is completed. |
Duration Comments | Additional comments relevant to the assembly's production times. |
Estimated Start Date |
The date the Assembly is due to start production. Not available in the blank Import Assemblies template file. |
