How to delete a Stock Count
FollowWhen a Stock Count has an "In Progress" status but is no longer needed or needs to be started again, it can be deleted and no changes will be made to your inventory's stock on hand.
Completed Stock Counts cannot be deleted or edited. If a Stock Count has been completed incorrectly, we recommend creating a new Stock Count to reverse the effects of the original Stock Count or to apply a correct count for the affected inventory.
Delete a Stock Count
- Navigate to the "In Progress" Stock Count, from either the main menu's Inventory, Transactions section or from the Global Search.
- Open the Stock Count, scroll to the bottom of the page to select the red Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion by selecting Yes in the Delete Stock Count pop-up window.
- The Stock Count will be updated to Deleted status, no further changes can be made tot he Stock Count and no stock on hand will be updated.
