Why aren't my Shopify invoices showing in my accounting provider?
FollowIf Invoices completed in Unleashed from a Shopify Sales Order aren't exporting to your accounting provider (Xero or Quickbooks), it's likely because the setting "Accounting System Invoice" is disabled in your Shopify store's configuration setting.
Within Unleashed's eCommerce Hub - Shopify integration, you can decide whether Sales Invoices should export from Unleashed to your integrated accounting provider (Xero or Quickbooks) when the Invoice has been generated from a Sales Order imported from Shopify. This setting is called "Accounting System Invoice" and can be found in each Shopify store's configuration settings.
Manage your Shopify Store's "Accounting System Invoice" setting
To manage your Shopify store's "Accounting System Invoice" setting:
- From the main menu in Unleashed, go to the eCommerce Hub and click on the Shopify tile.
- Click on the "Configure" button in your Shopify store's tile.
- Scroll down to the "Accounting System Invoice" option and use the toggle to either enable (green) or disable (grey) it.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Save Configuration".
Once saved, invoices completed for Sales Orders that have imported from Shopify after the setting has updated will either export or not, as saved.
"Accounting System Invoice" is enabled
If "Accounting System Invoice" is enabled, Invoices completed in Unleashed for Shopify imported Sales Orders will export to your accounting provider (Xero or Quickbooks).
"Accounting System Invoice" is disabled
If "Accounting System Invoice" is disabled, Invoices completed in Unleashed for Shopify imported Sales Orders will not export to your accounting provider (Xero or Quickbooks).
We recommend disabling the "Accounting System Invoice" setting in your Shopify store's configuration settings if you have integrated Shopify directly with your accounting provider.
