How to set Priority for Products in the B2B Store
FollowSummary
The "Set Priority" feature in the B2B module allows you to prioritize certain products so that you may show them first on the list of your store.
This is quite useful for when you are having sales on certain products, or having a clearance sale and looking to sell out specific products first.
Steps
To set priority for your products, you will need to:
- Ensure that you have the Custom Product Ranking setting turned on via B2B Settings > Inventory > Product Details.
- Once turned on, navigate to B2B Settings > Inventory > Products.
- For the product(s) that you would like to prioritize, tick the box on the left-hand side.
- Once all the products that you would like to prioritize have been selected, hover over the Action Cog, and select Set Priority.
- An interface will appear that will allow you to enter the number you'd like to prioritize the products.
- Input your number of priority here and click Confirm.
- You can then go into the Products page from the top-left of B2B to verify the priority has activated.
- To view any existing priorities against products, navigate to B2B Settings > Inventory > Products and see the Display Priority column.
Additional Information
- The Set Priority feature works irrespective of the catalogues, meaning it will activate the priority for all the catalogues the prioritized products are involved in.
- You are able to set priority for products in bulk, meaning you can tick multiple products and set their priority as 1 and it will make them appear first on your store, sorting said products by alphabetical order.
