Can I run a report for the last sale price of a product?

To review the unit pricing that's been applied to Sales Orders, we recommend creating a custom report using Unleashed's Data Exporter. The Data Exporter allows you to create re-useable, custom report templates that can provide further detail than is available in Unleashed's existing reports.

To create a Template in Data Exporter that will include product pricing applied to Sales Orders:

  1. From the main menu, go to Integration and select Data Exporter

  2. Click on the "Add Template" button.

  3. Fill in the following required fields:
    • *Template Name: A unique title for your custom report.
    • *Data Source: Use the drop down menu to select the source "Sales Order".
    • *Export Format: Use the drop down menu to choose the format the report will be generated in, either CSV or TSV.

  4. Use the "Filters to Apply" section to configure any filters that should apply be default to the report. The filter options available are:
    • Filter By Date Range: Use the drop down menu to select which date on the order the report will filter by.
    • From Date: Use the calendar icon to select a start date (maximum date range is 3 months).
    • To Date: Use the calendar icon to select an end date.
    • Order Status: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Sales Order's current status.
    • Sales Order Group: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Sales Order Group applied to the Sales Order.
    • Warehouse: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Warehouse applied to the Sales Order.
    • Delivery Country: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Delivery Country applied to the Sales Order.
    • Currency: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Currency applied to the Sales Order's customer.
    • Sales Person: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Sales Person applied to the Sales Order.
    • Delivery Method: Use the multi-select drop down menu to filter the report by the Delivery Method applied to the Sales Order.
    • Delivery City: Use the free text field to filter the report by the Delivery City applied to the Sales Order.

  5. Use the "Fields to be exported" section to select which field of data will be included in the report for your Sales Orders. Either scroll through the "Available Fields" list or use the "Search Fields" space to locate and select the required detail, then click "Add" to include it on your report's template.

  6. Add the fields "Discounted Unit Price" and "Unit Price" to the Selected Fields list, alongside "Product Code" and "Description" and any further date, Sales Order or Customer details you may wish to include to populate the unit prices applied per product per Sales Order.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Navigate back to the "View Templates" page of the Data Exporter and select the "Template Name".

  9. Click on "Export" in the top right of the template's page to generate the report based on the filters applied. A CSV/TSV document will be downloaded to your device, populated with your selected fields' data, which you can then use to determine the latest pricing applied per product.
