Can we reduce the leading zeros in the transaction numbers in Unleashed?

Unleashed's transaction numbers always include leading zeros by system design. Removing or reducing the leading zeros in any transaction numbers in Unleashed is currently not possible. 
For example, if the Purchase Order prefix is set as "PO" with the Next Purchase Order Number set to "1". The transaction number of the next Purchase Order will be "PO-00000001", and cannot be shortened to "PO-1", "PO-01", or "PO-001", etc."
