AIM features the option to 'Include catalog products'.

If this option is disabled, only products with stock on hand, or a rate of demand will be filtered into the modelling page.

Catalog products will calculate to zero stock limits. If you have a large number of catalog products, you may want to disable 'Include catalog products' to focus on products that need to be managed.
