Customer Types can be deleted provided they are not assigned to any customers. 

Additional Information:

• Customer Type can be edited manually by going into the customer record and assigning a different type or no customer type. For bulk edits, a CSV import may be a better option.
• Completed transactions with customers assigned a specific customer type will not be impacted by deleting customer types.
