How to add images to a Product

Add multiple images to a product's record and set a default to display when the product is listed in your View Products page. Images added to a product in Unleashed will be available to add to your Doc Designer templates and will also be available to sync to your B2B Stores and eCommerce Hub integrations, where applicable. 

Images can be added by uploading a new file directly into the product's record, or by allocating an already uploaded file from the File Library to the product. 

  • The upload file size limit is 20MB.
  • Supported file formats are: .png .gif .jpg .jpeg .bmp .webp .csv .pdf .doc .xls .xlsx .docx .msg .dwg .stp .dxf .ppt .pptx.

Upload images directly to a product's record

To upload a new file and attach it directly to a specific product, see below:

  1. Find the product's record and navigate to the Attachments tab.

  2. Either drag and drop the image file from your desktop into the grey upload tile on the Attachments tab or select "browse local files" to select it from your device's files. 

  3. Once uploaded, use the Action Cog icon to apply any default requirements for the image:
    • Make Default Image: The default image is what will populate in the View Products page and the Doc Designer templates
    • Make Default Label Image: This option will make the image the default for printing labels only. 

      Note: Use the Detach option in the Action Cog to remove the image from the product's record but keep it as an uploaded file in your File Library. 

  4. Click Save and the uploaded image and any default settings will apply to the product's record.

Attach images to a product from the File Library

There are two ways to attach an existing image from your File Library to a product record:

  1. Select "search uploaded files" in the product's Attachments tab
  2. Allocate an image from the File Library to a product 

Add images by searching uploaded files

  1. In a product's record, in the Attachments tab, select "search uploaded files" in the grey upload tile.

  2. A pop-up window, Search Uploaded Files, will appear and this will populate all current files available in your File Library. 

  3. Filter the window by Image and use the Search Files field to refine the file search for the images you want to allocate. 


  4. Use the checkboxes to select the image files due to be attached to the product.
    NOTE: Up to 50 files can be allocated to a single product record

  5. Select Attach in the pop-up window to allocate the image files to the product record.

Allocate images from the File Library to a product record

  1. From the main menu, head to Settings and click on File Library.

  2. The File Library page will list all uploaded files for your account. Use the Search Files field, to filter the listed files by names or use the drop-down menus to filter by file type (All, Image or Document). 

  3. Use the checkboxes to select the files due to be attached to a product record and then click on the Attach Files button, above the grid layout.


  4. A pop-up window will appear to select which entities (transactions or records) the files will be attached to. Use the Search Entities field to find and select the product record, where you can select up to 50 entities to allocate a file to.


  5. Select Attach to allocate the selected files to the entities selected.
