Which Unleashed contact is synced as the default contact in Xero?
FollowThe default contact in Xero is synced from Unleashed's Primary contact in the Customer or Supplier's record. All the other contacts in Unleashed are exported as secondary contacts under the same customer/supplier record.
Contacts in Unleashed
The Primary contact in Unleashed can be changed at any time, following the below steps:
- Open the Customer/Supplier record in Unleashed.
- Go to the Contacts tab and the current Primary contact will be listed at the top of the contacts lists and highlighted with a green tick icon.
- Hover over the Action Cog (on the far right) of a secondary contact.
- Select "Set as primary" to set the secondary contact as the new Primary.
- The contacts list will re-arrange to display the new Primary at the top alongside the Primary icon.
Contacts in Xero
- Only the Primary contact is displayed under the customer record in Xero
- To view the secondary contacts, click "edit" button
- You will need to enable "Include in Emails" toggle to auto-add those secondary contacts to their Xero emails.
