Why Can't I Mark a Product as Obsolete?

Answer: 

When marking a product as Obsolete, all relevant transactions must Completed or Deleted before you are able to do so. Once the open transactions are in either of these two statuses you will be able to mark the product as Obsolete.

Additional Information:

Check the Product record under the References tab to see if there are any open transactions that need to be completed/deleted.
