How to setup a custom 'From' email address for your email templates
FollowWhen sending an email from Unleashed, the email's sender address will be registered as noreply@unleashedsoftware.com in the recipient's inbox. Unleashed has implemented this behavior in order to to safe-guard the recipient's inbox from security risks.
However, you can customize how the From (sender's) email address will be shown in your recipients inbox so that they can can easily respond to your email, if necessary.
Setting a "From" email address in your email templates
- From the main menu, go to Settings, Company and select the Email Templates tab.
- Select a Transaction type from the grid on the left.
- The Transaction's current default From, Subject and Body fields will populate on the right of the Email Templates page.
- In the From field, enter the email address you would like recipients to respond to for that specific transaction's email.
- Click Save, in the top right corner.
NOTE: If the From field is left blank in a transaction's email template, the email address of the user that triggers the email from Unleashed will be shown as the From address in the recipient's inbox.
