As soon as a customer has been created in Unleashed, it's unique customer code is saved and cannot be edited or updated directly in the customer's record. To update or edit a customer's code, use the Change Code function available in the Customer module:

1. From the main menu, select Customers then Change Codes. 
   
   
2. The Customer Change Codes page will become available, showing the Single tab by default. 
   
   
3. Enter the customer's current code in the *Customer field.
   
   
4. In the *New Customer Code field, enter the customer's updated code.
   
   
5. Click Save. 
   
   
6. The customer's record will be updated with the new customer code and the change will be logged in the Change Codes page's grid.
