How to set up new products with the Shopify Integration
FollowSummary:
Create and map new products between Shopify and Unleashed.
Follow the Steps Below:
OPTION A - For Products created in Unleashed:
This will create all missing products as single variant products in Shopify.
1) Turn on Auto-Publish
- Click eCommerce Hub
- Click Shopify
- Click into the store you want to export products to
- Turn on the Auto Publish to Online Store toggle switch
- Click Save Configuration
2) Export Products from Unleashed to Shopify
- Click Manage Your Data
- Go to Export Products from Unleashed to Shopify
- Click Export
OPTION B - For Products created in Shopify:
This will create all missing products as single products in Unleashed, as well as any missing mapping.
1) Turn on Create Missing Products
- Click eCommerce Hub
- Click Shopify
- Click into the store you want to import products from
- Turn on the Create Missing Products in Unleashed toggle switch
- Click Save Configuration
2) Import Products from Shopify to Unleashed
- Click Manage Your Data
- Go to Import Products from Shopify to Unleashed
- Click Import
OPTION C - For Products created in Unleashed and Shopify:
This will create any missing mapping for pre-existing products.
1) Turn off Create Missing Products
- Click eCommerce Hub
- Click Shopify
- Click into the store you want to import products from
- Turn off the Create Missing Products in Unleashed toggle switch
- Click Save Configuration
2) Import Products from Shopify to Unleashed
- Click Manage Your Data
- Go to Import Products from Shopify to Unleashed
- Click Import
After completing OPTION A, B or C - products should be automatically ticked as visible for this store:
3) Mark products as visible
- Click eCommerce Hub
- Click Shopify
- Click Manage Your Products
- Tick the checkbox for the product and store
- Click Save Configuration
4) Check the product mapping
- Click Connection Log
- Filter by Log Level: All
- Filter by Shop Name: All
- Click Refresh
If mapping has been successful, each product will be listed as having mapped successfully.
If marking the products as visible has been successful, the stock on hand for the product will show as exported.
