The Stock On Hand Enquiry is used to view your entire stock on hand level with values
| • | To check the stock details for all of your stock on hand go to the Stock on Hand Enquiry screen under the Inventory Menu | Enquiries |
| • | You will see a list of your products on hand plus a count of your products and sum of their value at the bottom right |
| • | We recommend regular checks of your Xero Balance Sheet to ensure your stock value matches this value |
| • | To view a single product select the product you wish to view by either using the Code or Description alpha search or click the Search button for a more detailed search. Once selected click the Run button |
| • | You can amend how many products show on your screen by selecting the required number at the bottom of the data grid |
| • | You can sort the products as per each column name by double clicking the column name at the top |
| • | To print the enquiry click the Preview button |

Hi Dawn,
If you have obsoleted the product then it should not show up anywhere other than the product list itself (and under Settings | Export | Products). Is this what you are talking about?
We are planning on adding an option to hide these obsoleted products however at this point in time they will only show as mentioned above.

I have just done a stock take and adjusted where required. How do you delete stock or hide it if the product is no longer part of the inventory. If we can't do this it makes the exporting docs are huge when you want to double check entries and most of the entries are irrelevant. Have I missed something in managing this. I have ticked the obsolete button but it does not seem to make much difference.

That is right stock items that have nothing on hand will not be displayed. You can view those items though under "Purchasing | Enquiries | Re-Order". That might be what you are looking for.

It appears from the report I have run that it shows stock with positive or negative stock balances but if a product has an inventory of zero it doesn't show on the stock list - is this correct?
