Applications for the API Beta are now closed. The API is now being tested by a diverse group of partners and users. We expect to be opening this up to a larger test group in Early September. Stay tuned here for further updates.
It's truly amazing what integrated software solutions can do nowadays. Every purchase, every message, every tweet, can travel from their native service to just about any other place on the web, automatically and autonomously. This is done through a network of integrations that take the broad expanse of SaaS offerings and knits them into an even greater web of functionality. The backbone of this network is a standard called an API. This is the term given to the tools provided by companies for gaining access to the functionality of their software from an outside source. If you've sent a tweet from your favourite blog with a link to a great article, shared your current song selection on an online radio station, or sent a twitter message from a third-party application, you were using an API.
Unleashed is currently working on our very own API, and this is big news for anyone looking to easily manage their stock.
